Media Training & Issues and Crisis Management
Few people are born with a natural ability to speak comfortably in front of an audience, particularly when that audience is filled with television cameras and inquisitive reporters. That’s why Trish Cheveldayoff Communications and Consulting provides media training. Trish will give you the opportunity to receive coaching and training in an environment simulating a typical news conference. TCCC media training ensures you present yourself as professional, competent and fully prepared. Aquiring those skills becomes increasingly important when there is a crisis and the media is calling for a comment or reaction. Knowing your message and being able to articulate your message in a crisis situation is paramount to successfully riding the storm.
Writing
TCCC offers a wide range of writing services including annual reports, newsletters, news releases, speech writing, donor appeal letters and grant applications. Writing is an important part of any communications strategy. Good writing skills allow you to communicate your message with clarity and ease to a far larger audience than through face-to-face or telephone conversations. Poor writing skills create poor first impressions and many readers will have an immediate negative reaction if they spot a spelling or grammatical mistake. As well as grammar, spelling and punctuation, TCCC will write with your audience in mind.
